Good morning!!
So much has been happening here at the ranch over the past few weeks that I haven't had time to keep the blog up to date!
PRAISES:
1) our unfinished Activities Building (with 4 small apartments, large kitchen and a recreation area) past inspection for plumbing, and so once we finish the electrical, we can button up the walls and will at last have our newest building completed!!
2) I was able to finish trimming the grass/weeds that had sprung up 3+ feet tall along the drive way and much of the main campus...still have a ways to go, but got so much done!
3) After a terrible flu ran it's course with Jana and myself, we are all finally healthy again!
4) Our first student, Isaiah, is enrolled and should be arriving in a few weeks!!!
5) We have a new potential staff member, Renee - Vern and Jana met him at church last Sunday, and the way things stand now, he will be helping out temporarily for a few weeks to make sure this is where he wants to be more long-term.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1) That God would bless this ministry in all that we do
2) That we would truly be the hands and feet of God, reaching out to love Isaiah and influence him
3) That God would be at work in Isaiah's heart and life, and that through his time here, his life would be changed for the better and for good
4) That God would bring to light the things here that need adjustment or improvement
5) Health and safety
For me personally, I am looking to sell my motorcycle and hopefully acquire a cheap (or better yet, free) truck or car...the motorcycle doesn't meet my needs out here. In addition to provision there, I could also use prayer for provision to help me continue to pay off my student loans so that I can break free from the chains of debt!
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers and support!! God bless!

Happy New Year indeed!
Well, this is it! My first post of 2014! I'll keep it brief...here's the scoop: We have 3 families still in the process of filling out applications for their boys, but we have also received a completed application for fourth boy. Please be praying for him, his family, and for us as we review his application and try to determine if he will be a good fit for us. This could very well be a defining moment for AYR as we work to get this program started.
How can you help in 2014?
1) Become a prayer partner! - Contact me at kabrown27@gmail.com to get on my Prayer Email List and make a commitment to pray briefly for the staff, kids, ranch and ministry daily!
2) Support me financially! - I am working here as a missionary, meaning that my only income is the generous gifts of people like you! It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, because everything helps! I have supporters giving as little as $5 per month and others giving quite a bit more! Whatever you can afford is a huge blessing to me, as it provides for my basic needs here. Your donation is tax deductable, and can be done by phone, mail, or online. Click here for more info: https://worldoutreach.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=70&Itemid=90
If online, simply select my name from the list and follow the steps...
If by mail, make the check out to World Outreach and put this in the memo field: "Kevin Brown #278" - it will get to me.
3) Keep in touch! - Living in Elfrida sometimes feels like worlds away from all I once knew, and I definitely find myself missing my friends and family back home. Make a commitment to call, text, write, or email me regularly (weekly or monthly). My contact info here is:
